Friends of Our Cabaña raise funds to support the world center, Our Cabaña, located in Cuernavaca, Mexico. As the only world center in the Western Hemisphere, Our Cabaña serves a vital role in providing Girl Guides and Girl Scouts valuable opportunities in community service, exploring the arts and culture of Mexico, and discovering the natural beauty of Mexico.

Friends of Our Chalet raise money to support the world center, Our Chalet, located in Adelboden, in the heart of the Swiss Alps. Visitors to Our Chalet have the opportunity to participate in Alpine sports year round…cross county skiing, downhill skiing, and snow shoeing in the winter and hiking in the summer. Additionally, Our Chalet hosts important leadership development experiences like the Helen Storrow seminar where young women from around the world can come together to explore meaningful topics and develop projects that will change our world.

Friends of Pax Lodge raise money to support the world center, Pax Lodge, located in London, England. Pax Lodge serves an important role in providing hospitality to many Girl Scout and Girl Guide travelers beginning their European adventures and provides a safe place in one of our world’s largest cities. Pax Lodge also gives visitors the opportunity to learn about the roots of the Girl Scout/Girl Guide Movement and to visit the World Bureau, home of the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts.

Friends of Sangam raise money to support the world center, Sangam, located in Pune, India. Those who visit Sangam are given a variety of opportunities to experience the beauty and mystery of India as well as opportunities to serve some of the world’s neediest citizens. In addition, guests can arrange for visits to some of the world’s most beautiful places including the Taj Mahal and the Red Fort in Agra.

Friends of WAGGGS USA raise money to support the programs that WAGGGS develops and implements around the world. These include Stop the Violence which focuses on bringing an end to violence of all kinds against women and children, Free Being Me which focuses and developing a positive body image, and the New Nutrition Programme which focuses on helping girls be healthy and well-nourished so that they are able to reach their full potential and are empowered to take action to break the cycle of malnutrition.
